I use my knife for a handful of things around the house; opening boxes, cutting up cardboard, envelopes, random camping activities, and figured that those activities probably wouldn't dull a blade much. Cut forward - some friends of mine said they're starting up a sharpening business (this one) and I figured why not, let's try it and see if I can tell a difference.

This week I had that knife sharpened here, and the difference it made was substantial. It's far easier to cut through cardboard and little bits of wood, and the cut is cleaner than it's ever been. It has me wondering if the blade was dull when I bought it because it's better now than it was off the shelf.

I had 3 knives sharpened here all different from each other. One serrated, one a bowie, and one was an antique in very bad condition. I got them all back very quickly, faster than I could ever expect. Each one of them shined and shimmered with an incredibly sharp edge. My antique was restored and looks as if it was just made. I couldn't recommend getting any of your knives sharpened here more. Whether it be a kitchen knife you use daily, or a pocket knife you like to carry, you can count on him to give you the greatest edge.

So happy to have sharp kitchen knives again. They passed the ripe tomato slice test.
